Spectators: 7336 (Terracing: 5523, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 120) Tom Raudla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eino Hennoste in the 2nd minute of the match. Tom Raudla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eino Hennoste, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Ruuna getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Uuno Kahest hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eino Hennoste in the 10th minute of play forced Ruuna's goalkeeper Tom Raudla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Ruuna's Helari Sõel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vaino Kasemaa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruuna's goalkeeper Tom Raudla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hillar Edu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vaino Kasemaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Ruuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Pajur to maneuver through the defense. When Eino Hennoste came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Viljandi Olevik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eino Hennoste couldn't finish the play. Viljandi Olevik's Eino Hennoste got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Ruuna got a freekick which was hit by Uuno Kahest. Kaspar Oja's late challenge caught a Viljandi Olevik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaspar Oja helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Kaspar Oja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Helari Sõel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uuno Kahest in the 42nd minute of play forced Viljandi Olevik's goalkeeper Vaino Kasemaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaino Kasemaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helari Sõel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Ruuna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Kaspar Oja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Oja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaino Kasemaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Eino Hennoste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruuna's Tom Raudla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Helari Sõel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vaino Kasemaa. Helari Sõel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 60th minute of the match Maarek Raig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Raudla skillfully saved the ball. Kaspar Oja was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Viljandi Olevik booed when Ruuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspar Oja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvi Valdmets kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ruuna's Innar Vikat broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Uuno Kahest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vaino Kasemaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Raudla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evald Kuuskmäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evald Kuuskmäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tom Raudla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eino Hennoste in the 82nd minute of play forced Ruuna's goalkeeper Tom Raudla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Evald Kuuskmäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viljandi Olevik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruuna the free kick. Evald Kuuskmäe kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Viljandi Olevik's Vaino Kasemaa got control of the ball when Hillar Edu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uuno Kahest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaino Kasemaa having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Innar Vikat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vaino Kasemaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hillar Edu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ruuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hillar Edu couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Helari Sõel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vaino Kasemaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Ruuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viljandi Olevik throughout the match.
