Vaino Kasemaa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vaino Kasemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonas Kivisild in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Eino Hennoste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viljandi Olevik's supporters rose to their feet, but Eino Hennoste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Treial breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaino Kasemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonas Kivisild in the 26th minute of the match. Vaino Kasemaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonas Kivisild in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joonas Kivisild in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaino Kasemaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siim Treial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eino Hennoste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, JK Vaprus II's goal looked a bit too open when Eino Hennoste came free, but Siim Treial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viljandi Olevik's Vaino Kasemaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Galdi in the 43rd minute of play. Cristoforo Galdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaino Kasemaa having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eino Hennoste made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Evald Kuuskmäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaino Kasemaa was a little too slow when Joonas Kivisild got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-3. 61 minutes into the game, Kaido Rahumets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Vaprus II's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viljandi Olevik the free kick. The supporters of Viljandi Olevik booed when JK Vaprus II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaido Rahumets didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joonas Kivisild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joonas Kivisild got free with Vaino Kasemaa in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viljandi Olevik's Vaino Kasemaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Viljandi Olevik from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Wanderson Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Keijo Pottsepp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siim Treial showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, JK Vaprus II's Volli Olt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Viljandi Olevik's Eino Hennoste got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over JK Vaprus II could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viljandi Olevik throughout the match.
