Ragnar Vahing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Kaido Ülavere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Korjus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Korjus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Raun went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Toravere SK's Asso Ojakäär got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kalju Heinsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ragnar Vahing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Vahing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalju Heinsalu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ragnar Vahing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalju Heinsalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kalju Heinsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ragnar Vahing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Vahing came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Toravere SK's Agu Valt. But to his dismay, Agu Valt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half FC Waltu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalju Heinsalu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Kaido Ülavere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Korjus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Vahing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jass Muuga in the 55th minute of the match. When Kaido Voormansik fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Waltu's protests and gave Kaido Voormansik a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes FC Waltu got a freekick which was hit by Kaido Voormansik. Toravere SK's Agu Valt got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ragnar Vahing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalju Heinsalu in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Agu Valt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ragnar Vahing was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Toravere SK booed when FC Waltu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaido Voormansik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agu Valt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ragnar Vahing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toravere SK. A collision led to Toravere SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Agu Valt hit a great ball. The throw-in from Kaido Voormansik in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toravere SK's Illimar Kevade. Heiko Tael charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heiko Tael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Toravere SK. Roland Velling stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ragnar Vahing. 3-2. Kalju Heinsalu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ragnar Vahing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toravere SK. Toravere SK's Ralf Korjus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaido Ülavere in the 87th minute of play. Toravere SK's Ralf Korjus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Toravere SK from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Bruno Raun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ralf Korjus, 3-4. FC Waltu were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Toravere SK's much stronger midfield.
