The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paduvere FC's Mait Põldroos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paduvere FC's goalkeeper Mikk Olumets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mikk Olumets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helari Sõel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute, Jan Indus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helger Leo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helari Sõel in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikk Olumets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helari Sõel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. When Enar Alles fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paduvere FC's protests and gave Enar Alles a yellow card for diving instead. Hillar Edu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mikk Olumets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paduvere FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Riho Enula hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Hillar Edu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaspar Oja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikk Olumets having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Paduvere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siim Emane to maneuver through the defense. If Hillar Edu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Ruuna were the better team. Ruuna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
