After having played for 2 minutes, Hillar Edu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hillar Edu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaspar Oja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Hillar Edu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Vahing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaido Ülavere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tom Raudla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Raudla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimo Kaalikas in the 15th minute. Uuno Kahest scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragnar Vahing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, FC Waltu's goal looked a bit too open when Helari Sõel came free, but Ragnar Vahing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hillar Edu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ragnar Vahing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruuna. Hillar Edu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Vahing having to interfere. FC Waltu's Ragnar Vahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helari Sõel in the 39th minute of play. When Ruuna's Kaspar Oja in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Waltu's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Waltu's Ragnar Vahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helari Sõel in the 58th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Waltu's goalkeeper Ragnar Vahing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hillar Edu. Ragnar Vahing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helari Sõel in the 94th minute of the match. Ruuna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
