In the 14th match minute, Tavi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Väino Ööbik to maneuver through the defense. Endel Luige showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Vitsut, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Fc Merivälja got a freekick which was hit by Avo Sõõrumaa. Georg Raska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Endel Luige tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspar Rahkema hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Endel Luige showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Vitsut in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Liis Normak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ain Hani was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Mario Luiga took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ain Hani. Ain Hani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 42 minutes, Vambola Pahapill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tavi FC and the Fc Merivälja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tavi FC! The referee gave Fc Merivälja a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agur Asso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tavi FC's Ain Hani. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Mario Luiga made the kick off in the second half. Georg Raska kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Georg Raska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endel Luige saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Tavi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Avo Sõõrumaa came free, but Ain Hani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avo Sõõrumaa's late challenge caught a Tavi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avo Sõõrumaa helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Fc Merivälja got a freekick which was hit by Avo Sõõrumaa. Ain Hani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Luiga in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Agur Asso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Merivälja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tavi FC the free kick. In the 69th minute, Agur Asso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Tavi FC's Georg Raska shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Endel Luige came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tavi FC reached it. Endel Luige made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Kaspar Rahkema sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fc Merivälja getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mart Esko hit a great ball. Agur Asso was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 74 minutes into the game, one of Fc Merivälja:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 81st match minute, Tavi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Raska to maneuver through the defense. Tavi FC's Ain Hani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liis Normak in the 82nd minute of play. When Mario Luiga came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Fc Merivälja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Luiga couldn't finish the play. Väino Ööbik kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Liis Normak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ain Hani having to interfere. The supporters of Fc Merivälja booed when Tavi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tõnis Salavesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Liis Normak came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Fc Merivälja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liis Normak couldn't finish the play.
