The supporters of Vilimaa SK booed when Jk FB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Oidra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermanno Pari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavi Arumäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joosep Põhjala having to interfere. Egon Vähe charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Vähe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Egon Vähe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Vilimaa SK's Olavi Arumäe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joosep Põhjala. Joosep Põhjala yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joosep Põhjala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Pari in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Olavi Arumäe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joosep Põhjala, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Oidra in the 29th minute of play forced Vilimaa SK's goalkeeper Bruno Virsa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jk FB's zone, Olavi Arumäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joosep Põhjala came out of the goal and Olavi Arumäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Egon Vähe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Joosep Põhjala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavi Arumäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Olavi Arumäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enno Kivik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bruno Virsa made a huge save. Vilimaa SK's Kait Roosmaa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robi Lossimäe in the 65 minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, Jk FB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Muretu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Olavi Arumäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilimaa SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavi Arumäe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Jk FB defense, Olavi Arumäe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joosep Põhjala. The Jk FB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joosep Põhjala should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Vilimaa SK's Olavi Arumäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joosep Põhjala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Ermanno Pari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joosep Põhjala was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a little luck, Vilimaa SK's Bruno Virsa got control of the ball when Enno Kivik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egon Vähe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vilimaa SK had played much better football throughout.
