If Kaarel Laur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Igrise getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Agu Näksi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Igrise's zone, Ahti Puuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahur Silm came out of the goal and Ahti Puuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute of the match FC Arsenal Tallinn got a corner. FC Igrise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elari Hindremäe ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Arsenal Tallinn's goalkeeper Hardi Luht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vahur Silm was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gustav Eensoo. After 54 minutes of play, FC Igrise's Asko Kargu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hardi Luht was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 58 played minutes Lennart Jaas rounded FC Igrise's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Vahur Silm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Jaas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahti Puuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahur Silm having to interfere. Lennart Jaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lennart Jaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asko Kargu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hardi Luht having to make a save. The supporters of FC Igrise booed when FC Arsenal Tallinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joonatan Luite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asko Kargu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Maido Vabamäe put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Arsenal Tallinn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! 93 minutes into the match, FC Igrise's goalkeeper Vahur Silm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahti Puuk. Haarald Kuusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahur Silm having to interfere. FC Arsenal Tallinn's Ahti Puuk got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Igrise supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Arsenal Tallinn's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Arsenal Tallinn.
