After a defensive mix-up in Roosilla's zone, Asko Kargu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Hirv came out of the goal and Asko Kargu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asko Kargu's late challenge caught a Roosilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asko Kargu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Roosilla booed when FC Igrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asko Kargu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmut Voormansik was the one to do the kick off.
