Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erni Ojarand started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Heiko Leht made a precise shot to the right of Marek Kruusimaa. Lauli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lauli's Marek Kruusimaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Aavik in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Aimar Emapoeg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kersleti and the Lauli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Kersleti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimar Emapoeg to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Erni Ojarand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Kruusimaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marko Aavik hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tom Ahju hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lauli's Marko Nõmmsalu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Kruusimaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Aavik in the 31st minute of the match. Kaido Paat hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marek Kruusimaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erni Ojarand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Kruusimaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Jõeäär, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Erni Ojarand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Kruusimaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes, Kersleti's Gabriel Uusen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marek Kruusimaa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kersleti reached it. In the 48th minute, Gunnar Jõeäär hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Talviste made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lauli's goalkeeper Marek Kruusimaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Jõeäär. Lauli's Marek Kruusimaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lauli from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Holger Talviste in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ardo Ahja saved Kersleti from getting behind. If Holger Talviste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Jõeäär got free with Marek Kruusimaa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marko Aavik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Kruusimaa having to interfere. Aimar Emapoeg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Marko Aavik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Marek Kruusimaa made a huge save. Marek Kruusimaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Aavik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Kruusimaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erni Ojarand in the 87th minute of play. If Holger Talviste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kersleti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
