Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 100) RUDDY's Ahti Mees started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antti Valgupera struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sven Nuga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adavere JK. Antti Valgupera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Nuga having to interfere. Rene Edasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sven Nuga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, RUDDY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Täppe to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Rene Edasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Nuga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ahti Mees recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Edasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Nuga having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, RUDDY's goal looked a bit too open when Antti Valgupera came free, but Sven Nuga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahti Mees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jass Härma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jass Härma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahti Mees in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RUDDY's zone, Antti Valgupera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Nuga came out of the goal and Antti Valgupera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, RUDDY's Rando Liib made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jass Härma was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antti Valgupera to make the kick off. A collision led to RUDDY getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Oodo Raudsepp hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Ragnar Täppe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jass Härma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaupo Mihklimäe's late challenge caught a RUDDY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaupo Mihklimäe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RUDDY booed when Adavere JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaupo Mihklimäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Edasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Nuga having to interfere. Antti Valgupera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahti Mees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jass Härma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riivo Eelrand was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for RUDDY. Lembitu Arulepp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jass Härma. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Kaupo Mihklimäe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adavere JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaupo Mihklimäe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Nuga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Nuga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Edasi in the 90th minute of the match. If Vambola Luite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adavere JK's Vambola Luite got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adavere JK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
