Magiotsa JK's Roland Kadajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erki Nõmmsalu in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, FC Viivikonna's Erki Nõmmsalu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Kadajas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roland Kadajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erki Nõmmsalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Hardi Ööbik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Viivikonna's Kalev Urm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Magiotsa JK booed when FC Viivikonna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Oha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Hardi Ööbik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magiotsa JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardi Ööbik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teet Varusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Kadajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaupo Püss in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Magiotsa JK's zone, Kaupo Püss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Kadajas came out of the goal and Kaupo Püss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaupo Püss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Roland Kadajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erki Nõmmsalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaupo Püss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janek Leo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Magiotsa JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Viivikonna were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hardi Ööbik was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Kaupo Püss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Kadajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardi Ööbik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalev Urm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of FC Viivikonna booed when Magiotsa JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardi Ööbik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes FC Viivikonna got a freekick which was hit by Indrek Hennoste. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Kaupo Püss managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Viivikonna's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaupo Püss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Kadajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Erki Nõmmsalu sped through Magiotsa JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roland Kadajas. After 84 played minutes Magiotsa JK got a freekick which was hit by Kert Veevo. When FC Viivikonna's Kaupo Püss in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Viivikonna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
