After 24 played minutes, FC Luuavabrik's Hillar Käps shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henri Loomus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Luuavabrik reached it. Vihtra FS's Henri Loomus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silver Annuk in the 29th minute of play. Henri Loomus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taimo Randoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Silver Annuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri Loomus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Luuavabrik's Taimo Randoja fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Vagula in the 46th minute of play forced FC Luuavabrik's goalkeeper Rando Kalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Taimo Randoja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vihtra FS's Henri Loomus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taimo Randoja was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Vihtra FS got a freekick which was hit by Raigo Käps. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Taimo Randoja managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Luuavabrik's supporters rose to their feet, but Taimo Randoja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henri Loomus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Taimo Randoja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henri Loomus.
