After 18 played minutes Tartu JK Tammeka got a freekick which was hit by Kaspar Pajuste. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vambola Unt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ryzer Quill's supporters rose to their feet, but Vambola Unt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silver Idasaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elmar Kraut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vambola Unt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silver Idasaar having to interfere. FC Ryzer Quill's Gunnar Lepist got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Tartu JK Tammeka got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Kraut. 35 minutes into the match, Tartu JK Tammeka's goal looked a bit too open when Vambola Unt came free, but Silver Idasaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC Ryzer Quill's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Heinaru came free, but Ainar Ruut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tartu JK Tammeka's Taavet Kasemägi managed to work through FC Ryzer Quill's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Taavet Kasemägi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Arnold Heinaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vambola Unt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elmar Kraut struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ainar Ruut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartu JK Tammeka. Ainar Ruut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Heinaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Ryzer Quill booed when Tartu JK Tammeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urmet Noobel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Lepist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Silver Idasaar made a huge save. Silver Idasaar came out of the goal and Gunnar Lepist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
