Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnold Heinaru got the match started through his kick off. When Sepo Ernesaks came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Surju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sepo Ernesaks couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Taavet Kasemägi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tartu JK Tammeka's supporters rose to their feet, but Taavet Kasemägi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elmu Kruus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tartu JK Tammeka's Arnold Heinaru got a free kick in the 9th minute. Surju's Eimar Luts got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taavet Kasemägi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elmu Kruus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Elmu Kruus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Heinaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Arnold Heinaru put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elmu Kruus. Elmu Kruus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Lahe, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Silver Idasaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sepo Ernesaks in the 42nd minute of play. Eimar Luts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Silver Idasaar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tartu JK Tammeka's Silver Idasaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sepo Ernesaks in the 45th minute of play. Surju's Sepo Ernesaks got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sepo Ernesaks made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Surju's goalkeeper Elmu Kruus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Surju's zone, Taavet Kasemägi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elmu Kruus came out of the goal and Taavet Kasemägi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, one of Surju:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tartu JK Tammeka a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmund Lusik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Surju's Elmu Kruus. 0-2. Surju's Eimar Luts got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sepo Ernesaks struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Silver Idasaar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surju. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Taavet Kasemägi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arnold Heinaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elmu Kruus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Surju's Jörgen Ülavere got a free kick in the 75th minute. Edmund Lusik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elmu Kruus. Surju's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elmu Kruus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnold Heinaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. Silver Idasaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eimar Luts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eimar Luts in the 95th minute of play forced Tartu JK Tammeka's goalkeeper Silver Idasaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eimar Luts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tartu JK Tammeka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tartu JK Tammeka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
