Janari Mihklisaar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Heiki Hõbemägi. Marti Kartul hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes of play Rangu FC's Viljar Rehepap was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Janari Mihklisaar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Heiki Hõbemägi. In the 19th match minute, Rangu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Nahasepp to maneuver through the defense. If Ivar Koov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rangu FC's Janari Mihklisaar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Rangu FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Ivar Koov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Kalju Kants got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Janari Mihklisaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalju Kants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Koov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antti Kaljuvee was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Heiki Hõbemägi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ivar Koov came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Sinialliku fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Koov couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Guido Lass notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rangu FC's Janari Mihklisaar. Janari Mihklisaar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Kalju Kants managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sinialliku's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalju Kants was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janari Mihklisaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janari Mihklisaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Koov in the 96th minute of play.
