An unexpectedly hard shot by Tambet Vonk in the 33rd minute of play forced Vihmavari's goalkeeper Kalev Levisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of RedBull Estonia booed when Vihmavari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahti Hool didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Uku Lusik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Halman's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Kalev Rodin fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RedBull Estonia's protests and gave Kalev Rodin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RedBull Estonia's Kalev Rodin got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Tambet Vonk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RedBull Estonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tambet Vonk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vihmavari's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Halman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uku Lusik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Tambet Vonk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalev Levisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Üllar Pett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Uku Lusik made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vihmavari eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
