With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taaniel Pihlakas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Arujärv hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Priidu Normak might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taaniel Pihlakas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Priidu Normak ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Rapla FC's Taaniel Pihlakas got control of the ball when Sepo Ahja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sepo Ahja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taaniel Pihlakas having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Priidu Normak got free with Taaniel Pihlakas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sepo Ahja struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Taaniel Pihlakas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maarja. FC Maarja played a much better game than Rapla FC and deserved their victory. The Rapla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
