Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uuno Edesi started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Erni Treimann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maarja and the Wiljandi Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Maarja's Erni Treimann got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Maarja's zone, Hannes Mees stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardo Karju came out of the goal and Hannes Mees tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaur Voltri kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wiljandi Warriors's zone, Sepo Ahja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Kork came out of the goal and Sepo Ahja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Wiljandi Warriors booed when FC Maarja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erni Treimann didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Maarja's Hardo Karju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaur Voltri in the 14th minute of play. Hardo Karju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vello Pervik went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC Maarja defense, Kalle Kuld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hardo Karju. The FC Maarja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hardo Karju should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Maarja's zone, Vello Pervik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardo Karju came out of the goal and Vello Pervik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiljandi Warriors's Kaur Voltri got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hardo Karju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Mees, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Hardo Karju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Kuld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, FC Maarja's Priidu Normak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Kork made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaur Voltri to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Wiljandi Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Kaur Voltri. 57 minutes into the match, FC Maarja's goal looked a bit too open when Kaur Voltri came free, but Hardo Karju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Wiljandi Warriors's Emil Luga made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hardo Karju was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hardo Karju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Luga in the 62nd minute of play. Hardo Karju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Voltri in the 63rd minute of play. Hardo Karju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vello Pervik in the 65th minute of play. Albert Kork made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sepo Ahja in the 67th minute. Albert Kork took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enno Paabo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Wiljandi Warriors's Emil Luga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hardo Karju made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a little luck, Wiljandi Warriors's Albert Kork got control of the ball when Sepo Ahja tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wiljandi Warriors had won after a very even match.
