Riho Hõlpus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvald Haan's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Jõgeva Kollane's Paul Ülenõmm got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Ülenõmm in the 18th minute of play forced FC MLK Pagulased's goalkeeper Kuido Kivistik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Rait Harju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Urb got free with Kuido Kivistik in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hardo Krooli fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MLK Pagulased's protests and gave Hardo Krooli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, FC MLK Pagulased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hardo Krooli to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Hardo Krooli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jõgeva Kollane's Valmar Hiie shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kuido Kivistik but with some difficulty. Kalev Jõgis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Ülenõmm hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pavel Urb in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Kuido Kivistik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play FC MLK Pagulased's Hardo Krooli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FC MLK Pagulased getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hardo Krooli hit a great ball. Pavel Urb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Pavel Urb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuido Kivistik was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Pavel Urb came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Jõgeva Kollane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Urb couldn't finish the play. The FC MLK Pagulased fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuido Kivistik should have stopped the shot. When Paul Ülenõmm came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Jõgeva Kollane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Ülenõmm couldn't finish the play. FC MLK Pagulased's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
