Hardo Krooli was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, FC MLK Pagulased's Hardo Krooli got a free kick in the 46th minute. Viru Veri were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after FC MLK Pagulased's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaagup Raudsoo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Viru Veri's corner Jaagup Raudsoo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kuido Kivistik quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC MLK Pagulased's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kuuno Lessel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuido Kivistik having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Viru Veri fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC MLK Pagulased had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
