The supporters of FC Siseputsad booed when JK Norava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Nugis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Kerdo Luik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Siseputsad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerdo Luik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, JK Norava's goal looked a bit too open when Erki Kabral came free, but Juhan Vinter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Uno Kann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JK Norava's Kaido Isu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juhan Vinter made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rudolf Ärsis sent off a good shot on target. Juhan Vinter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erki Kabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The JK Norava fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when JK Norava's Kaido Isu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uno Kann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Härmo Alles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uno Kann, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erki Kabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tõnis Laving in the 53rd minute of play forced JK Norava's goalkeeper Juhan Vinter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uno Kann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Härmo Alles having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Kaido Isu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uno Kann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Härmo Alles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Siseputsad's goalkeeper Härmo Alles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uno Kann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Ärsis's late challenge caught a JK Norava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Ärsis helped the player get up and apologised. JK Norava's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
