With his leg Ain Helemäe managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Talvikese's Vaino Ojasaar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ain Helemäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Üleoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Haapsalu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Üleoja came free, but Ain Helemäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Talvikese's Vaino Ojasaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnold Müürisepp to make the kick off. A collision led to Talvikese getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Siim Lipmeister hit a great ball. Siim Lipmeister charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siim Lipmeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haapsalu JK booed when Talvikese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siim Lipmeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Üleoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ain Helemäe having to interfere. There was no doubt that Talvikese were the better team. Talvikese's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
