Ardo Heinmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulev Mahlamaa having to interfere. Pagari's Sulev Mahlamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siim Maamägi in the 24th minute of play. Ragnar Noorsaar kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Siim Maamägi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulev Mahlamaa having to interfere. Ardo Heinmaa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sulev Mahlamaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kani JK. Siim Maamägi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sulev Mahlamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evald Vägi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Naudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Niinemets in the 37th minute of play. Evald Vägi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Allan Naudi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ardo Heinmaa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evald Vägi in the 55th minute of play forced Kani JK's goalkeeper Allan Naudi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pagari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ardo Heinmaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kani JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ardo Heinmaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sulev Mahlamaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Ardo Heinmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulev Mahlamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Naudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udo Niinemets in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kani JK's Jürgen Vaagen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Evald Vägi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jürgen Vaagen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute of the match Pagari got a corner. Kani JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ando Vägi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pagari's Ando Vägi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Allan Naudi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Despite being the better team, Kani JK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
