Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Arumae FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Enar Saarmets hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elar Klaas got free with Vambola Lüsi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Võnnu Devils's Innar Mustikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Virumaa in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Priidik Vagula got free with Vambola Lüsi in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Johannes Algaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kusti Hargi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vambola Lüsi having to make a save. FC Võnnu Devils's Innar Mustikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Vaide in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Võnnu Devils's Vambola Lüsi threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kusti Hargi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kusti Hargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Vambola Lüsi made a huge save. Karl Vaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Innar Mustikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Virumaa to make the kick off. Indrek Esko struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Vambola Lüsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Võnnu Devils. Gunnar Koppelmann hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, FC Võnnu Devils's Elar Klaas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vambola Lüsi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Võnnu Devils reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Joe Muruaas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Võnnu Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Muruaas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vambola Lüsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Priidik Valter hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arumae FC's zone, Kusti Hargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vambola Lüsi came out of the goal and Kusti Hargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madis Kahest took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vambola Lüsi. Vambola Lüsi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, Arumae FC's Udo Kroonmäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Innar Mustikas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Võnnu Devils's Innar Mustikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Kroonmäe in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, FC Võnnu Devils's Kusti Hargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vambola Lüsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of FC Võnnu Devils booed when Arumae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Kapsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Algaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vambola Lüsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kusti Hargi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Võnnu Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kusti Hargi couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Arumae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kusti Hargi came free, but Vambola Lüsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vambola Lüsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kusti Hargi's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, FC Võnnu Devils's goalkeeper Innar Mustikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Kapsi. Kert Klaabu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Haarald Aluste was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Enar Saarmets kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FC Võnnu Devils were the better team. FC Võnnu Devils's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
