In the 11th minute Uudo Vint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Heintalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Keijo Raudsoo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kavaso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keijo Raudsoo couldn't finish the play. Uudo Vint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agur Vismann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lennart Kaldoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jericho FC's zone, Uudo Vint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Heintalu came out of the goal and Uudo Vint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uudo Vint in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingmar Heintalu saved Jericho FC from getting behind. If Keijo Raudsoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Kavaso's Keijo Raudsoo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingmar Heintalu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 97th minute, Keijo Raudsoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
