Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lembit Lind started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Lembit Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asuja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lembit Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lembit Lind in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joosep Koppel saved FC NoVaX from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Tõnu Leigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC NoVaX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joosep Koppel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lembit Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aare Nurmsalu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Joosep Koppel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martti Mäekala in the 36th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agur Jaska made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Jarmo Üle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Tambet Veenpere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raigo Käbin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joosep Koppel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lembit Lind showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Martti Mäekala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimo Vilberg during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lembit Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joosep Koppel having to interfere. Asuja were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC NoVaX to leave the ground with a draw.
