Joosep Tihemets scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aapo Karmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alex Valgur fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikings 1993's protests and gave Alex Valgur a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Valgur hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Vikings 1993 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taavi Lehtpuu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Joosep Tihemets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikings 1993's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joosep Tihemets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jann Loss hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Joosep Vahter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aapo Karmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joosep Tihemets, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Vikings 1993 got a freekick which was hit by Joosep Vahter. Monsoon's Aapo Karmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joosep Tihemets in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Vikings 1993's Joosep Tihemets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aapo Karmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joosep Vahter in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aapo Karmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Alex Valgur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Hirse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Endel Toom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Joosep Tihemets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monsoon's Aapo Karmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Hirse was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Vikings 1993 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Taavi Lehtpuu hit a great ball. Endel Toom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haarald Pärnamets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monsoon's Aapo Karmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Monsoon from getting a goal against them. Endel Toom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haarald Pärnamets in the 78th minute of play. Alex Valgur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aapo Karmo came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Valgur slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Monsoon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joosep Vahter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joosep Tihemets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aapo Karmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Vikings 1993 got a freekick which was hit by Taavi Lehtpuu. The supporters of Vikings 1993 booed when Monsoon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Hirse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Joosep Vahter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aapo Karmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
