Valdur Pärnaku charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdur Pärnaku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Merja FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Valdur Pärnaku hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvard Ling got free with Ain Pihlak in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ain Pihlak made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edvard Ling sent off a good shot on target. Ain Pihlak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Pärtel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Pärtel in the 47th minute of play forced Merja FC's goalkeeper Ain Pihlak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Pärtel made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Kaspar Neemre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaspar Neemre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Kalle Pärtel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ain Pihlak was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Kaspar Neemre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Vallik in the 95th minute of play forced Chakra's goalkeeper Innar Rohtmäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Merja FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
