After a defensive mix-up in Ritsiko's zone, Janis Vahtra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalvi Kansi came out of the goal and Janis Vahtra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Tiit Aav mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ritsiko and the Dinamo Pärnu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Ritsiko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiit Aav to maneuver through the defense. If Silver Lüüs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silver Lüüs in the 34th minute of play forced Dinamo Pärnu FC's goalkeeper Eikki Klaabu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Avo Lehtmets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janis Vahtra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kalvi Kansi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Tiit Aav suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Heiko Pärt charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heiko Pärt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Dinamo Pärnu FC got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Pärt. If Kaimo Hõbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avo Lehtmets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avo Lehtmets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Eikki Klaabu made a huge save. With a little luck, Dinamo Pärnu FC's Eikki Klaabu got control of the ball when Avo Lehtmets tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Alex Antsov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Dinamo Pärnu FC's Heiko Pärt in action when he in the 60th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avo Lehtmets got free with Eikki Klaabu in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ritsiko's Avo Lehtmets got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janis Vahtra scored 1-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kalvi Kansi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janis Vahtra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Laanemets took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalvi Kansi. Kalvi Kansi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dinamo Pärnu FC had won after a very even match.
