The referee ignored Chakra's protests and gave Joosep Viin a yellow card for diving instead. Harald Ubar struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Innar Rohtmäe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martsa. Kalle Pärtel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Volli Ilves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Ubar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gert Luht came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Martsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Luht couldn't finish the play. Ilmar Tomson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chakra's zone, Harald Ubar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innar Rohtmäe came out of the goal and Harald Ubar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Gert Luht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Innar Rohtmäe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Martsa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kalle Pärtel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tauri Viigipuu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chakra's Innar Rohtmäe got control of the ball when Harald Ubar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Innar Rohtmäe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Luht's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Gert Luht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Innar Rohtmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Luht in the 72nd minute of play. When Martsa's Gert Luht in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chakra's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Innar Rohtmäe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Üllar Männik charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Üllar Männik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Üllar Männik hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Innar Rohtmäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Ubar in the 92nd minute. Innar Rohtmäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Luht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
