After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rein Elujõe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Must Lammas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rein Elujõe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andri Aavakivi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, FC Must Lammas's goal looked a bit too open when Kuldar Lemming came free, but Lembit Jusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lembit Jusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuldar Lemming, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee gave FC Must Lammas a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rando Kase, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viru Wõitlejad's Andri Aavakivi. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvard Lilleväli couldn't finish the play. After having played for 74 minutes, Kuido Ojakäär managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Must Lammas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuido Ojakäär was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Must Lammas made a substitution. Ailar Kurk replaced Edvard Lilleväli. Helari Tomat made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Erki Marja. Tõnu Vaas charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tõnu Vaas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Viru Wõitlejad booed when FC Must Lammas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tõnu Vaas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
