Lennart Kaljundi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lennart Kaljundi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Viru Wõitlejad's Lennart Kaljundi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvald Noorik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Viru Wõitlejad's Kuldar Lemming got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Kaljundi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Osvald Noorik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viru Wõitlejad. After having played for 42 minutes, Kuldar Lemming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viru Wõitlejad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuldar Lemming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Vincitore's Priidu Suslik got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Viru Wõitlejad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Priidu Suslik to make the kick off. The supporters of Viru Wõitlejad booed when FC Vincitore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Laadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andri Aavakivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Veebel in the 58th minute of play. Priidu Suslik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andri Aavakivi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Imre Laadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andri Aavakivi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvald Noorik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuldar Lemming in the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Priidu Suslik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kevin Veebel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vincitore's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Veebel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andri Aavakivi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Tom Anton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Kadarpik fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 79th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. If Kevin Veebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andri Aavakivi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Priidu Suslik in the 89th minute of the match. Kevin Veebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andri Aavakivi having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Elmu Aluste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viru Wõitlejad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vincitore the free kick. Elmu Aluste hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Kevin Veebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andri Aavakivi having to interfere. Riho Kont charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Riho Kont the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Riho Kont hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The FC Vincitore supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viru Wõitlejad's performance. The match ended with a win for Viru Wõitlejad.
