If Mark Noorhani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgo Avitaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jass Maarjamaa having to interfere. Marko Nigol hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vilita's zone, Andreas Hovi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jass Maarjamaa came out of the goal and Andreas Hovi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Poltsamaa fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Poltsamaa's Andreas Hovi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jass Maarjamaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Kaldur in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Madis Velt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jass Maarjamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juhan Annama in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Hovi in the 35th minute of play forced Vilita's goalkeeper Jass Maarjamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Noorhani was the one to do the kick off. Jass Maarjamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Noorhani, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Mark Noorhani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jass Maarjamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mark Noorhani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Alvin Kaldur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Andreas Hovi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jass Maarjamaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Madis Velt kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mark Noorhani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poltsamaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Noorhani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jass Maarjamaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
