When Mairo Lätte got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tauri Ojakallas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Urmet Mustikas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lepiku SK and the Fc Haine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Urmet Mustikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Helger Laos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einar Kukkur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaijo Luberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Juhan Saareoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juhan Saareoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tauri Ojakallas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juhan Saareoja's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Tiit Roosmaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mairo Lätte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juhan Saareoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Helger Laos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Einar Kukkur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tauri Ojakallas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mairo Lätte in the 63rd minute of the match. Kaijo Luberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, Lepiku SK's Helger Laos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Kukkur was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Kaijo Luberg came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lepiku SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaijo Luberg couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Juhan Saareoja made a precise shot to the right of Tauri Ojakallas. Lepiku SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Einar Kukkur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaijo Luberg in the 77th minute of play. Lepiku SK's Tauri Ojakallas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juhan Saareoja in the 80th minute of play. If Juhan Saareoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Mairo Lätte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Haine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mairo Lätte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juhan Saareoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mairo Lätte in the 92nd minute of play forced Lepiku SK's goalkeeper Tauri Ojakallas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juhan Saareoja in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tauri Ojakallas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
