The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Haarald Lell notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of JK Ryue's Oodo Lagle. Oodo Lagle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Uku Viitmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Rivendell fc's goal looked a bit too open when Uku Viitmann came free, but Arvo Reisalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rivendell fc's zone, Tanel Ande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvo Reisalu came out of the goal and Tanel Ande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Uku Viitmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haarald Lell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Oodo Lagle made a huge save. Haarald Lell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haarald Lell to make the kick off. JK Ryue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanel Ande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arni Nilbe fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivendell fc's protests and gave Arni Nilbe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rivendell fc getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Arni Nilbe hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Tanel Ande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvo Reisalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uku Viitmann in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Uku Viitmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Ryue's supporters rose to their feet, but Uku Viitmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvo Reisalu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haarald Lell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oodo Lagle having to interfere. Uku Viitmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arvo Reisalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Gert Ruuda made a precise shot to the right of Arvo Reisalu. Rivendell fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
