Riho Rehepap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arvo Reisalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Vabamüürlane in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elmu Taimre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riho Rehepap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Arvo Reisalu made a huge save. Palivere United's Riho Rehepap got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Avo Oidra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arvo Reisalu. Rivendell fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avo Oidra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A hard shot 41 in the game by Riho Rehepap from a close distance when the talented Arvo Reisalu managed to make a qualified save. Rivendell fc's players were relieved. Elmu Taimre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vabamüürlane, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Palivere United's Elmu Taimre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Vabamüürlane in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mart Joamets to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Artur Kinkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Haarald Lell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivendell fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haarald Lell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Rivendell fc's Elmu Taimre threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Vabamüürlane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rivendell fc's Arvo Reisalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mart Joamets in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Riho Rehepap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvo Reisalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mart Joamets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palivere United's supporters rose to their feet, but Mart Joamets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvo Reisalu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arvo Reisalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riho Rehepap in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Palivere United's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Vabamüürlane came free, but Elmu Taimre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palivere United's zone, Haarald Lell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elmu Taimre came out of the goal and Haarald Lell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rivendell fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palivere United.
