But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erni Trummi couldn't finish the play. Edvard Ahnus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erni Trummi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ventiil's Edvard Ahnus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ventiil from getting a goal against them. Edvard Ahnus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erni Trummi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21st minute Alo Lõvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tauno Rea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvard Ahnus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erni Trummi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erni Trummi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Armin Seen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC D's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Seen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Ahnus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvard Ahnus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Seen in the 72nd minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Ventiil's goal looked a bit too open when Erni Trummi came free, but Edvard Ahnus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC D's Tauno Rea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alo Lõvi in the 85th minute of play. Tauno Rea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alo Lõvi in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Erni Trummi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Ahnus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Alo Lõvi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
