Spectators: 7590 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alo Nugis kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Vanassaare got a freekick which was hit by Ermo Neumann. After 6 minutes of play, SC Veretina's Alo Nugis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Ladva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Ladva came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Veretina's Märt Laaser. But to his dismay, Märt Laaser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25th minute Mart Sepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Kampus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Märt Laaser managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Veretina's supporters rose to their feet, but Märt Laaser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Ladva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rainer Kampus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mart Sepp's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Vanassaare's Mart Sepp, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vanassaare. After 42 played minutes SC Veretina got a freekick which was hit by Aadu Rohumaa. Rainer Kampus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mart Sepp in the 43rd minute of play. Helger Kangur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rainer Kampus. SC Veretina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alo Nugis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alan Ladva. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mart Sepp was the one to do the kick off. Rainer Kampus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauri Algaja went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Lauri Algaja took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rainer Kampus. Rainer Kampus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Lauri Algaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haarald Rõuk fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanassaare's protests and gave Haarald Rõuk a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the match, Alo Nugis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alan Ladva. Vanassaare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alo Nugis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Mart Sepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rainer Kampus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Veretina's Rainer Kampus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save SC Veretina from getting a goal against them. SC Veretina were furious when Jakob Loome was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 83 minutes into the game, one of SC Veretina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Vanassaare. Ermo Neumann stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rainer Kampus. 4-3. If Märt Laaser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainer Kampus made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Lauri Algaja sent off a good shot on target. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SC Veretina were victorious despite being under pressure from Vanassaare for much of the match.
