The supporters of FC Mätas booed when Ventiil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Vana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taavi Valgur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvard Ahnus. Ventiil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Laur Kaljumäe fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ventiil's protests and gave Laur Kaljumäe a yellow card for diving instead. Laur Kaljumäe hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Aurel Vişoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alo Lõvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Frank Liivak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ventiil's Edvard Ahnus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Heiki Raadel made a precise shot to the right of Edvard Ahnus. Ventiil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Heiki Raadel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ventiil's Edvard Ahnus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Edvard Ahnus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Liivak in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Alo Lõvi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurel Vişoiu was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Frank Liivak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Edvard Ahnus made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded FC Mätas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ventiil.
