The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aimar Hellenurm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rene Kööp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noorma's Rene Kööp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdek Loide in the 12th minute of play. Rasmus Lauka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vallo Honga having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Valdek Loide took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rene Kööp to make any attempt to save it. If Valdek Loide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Kööp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdek Loide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Liik in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vallo Honga saved JK Kõduküla from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kõduküla's zone, Rasmus Lauka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vallo Honga came out of the goal and Rasmus Lauka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jörgen Liik made the kick off in the second half. JK Kõduküla's Vallo Honga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save JK Kõduküla from getting a goal against them. If Aimar Hellenurm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Noorma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jüri Leppik to maneuver through the defense. When Kalju Kender fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Kõduküla's protests and gave Kalju Kender a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Kalju Kender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes, Gustav Ruus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noorma and the JK Kõduküla players grew even worse after the yellow card.
