Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruno Lehis kicked off to start the match. Edvard Ahnus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Lehis in the 5th minute of the match. Edvard Ahnus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Lehis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute of the match, Alo Lõvi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kusti Agu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 12 minutes, Priit Lenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ventiil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Priit Lenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Furia Roja booed when Ventiil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Vana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, La Furia Roja's Agur Uusnurm tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alo Lõvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kusti Agu having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Kalev Sepik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Furia Roja and the Ventiil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Kalev Sepik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26thth minute of the game Gabriel Vessmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ventiil's Edvard Ahnus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvard Ahnus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Lehis in the 27th minute of play. Edvard Ahnus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Vessmann went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Priit Lenk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kusti Agu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alo Lõvi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, one of La Furia Roja:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Furia Roja. The referee gave Ventiil a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rudolf Raudsoo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Furia Roja's Kusti Agu. 2-1. La Furia Roja's Gabriel Vessmann got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alo Lõvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, La Furia Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arto Kaare to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Raudsoo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kusti Agu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Raudsoo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ventiil's zone, Gabriel Vessmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Ahnus came out of the goal and Gabriel Vessmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Vessmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Edvard Ahnus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Alo Lõvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kusti Agu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
