Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) FC Mätas's Frank Liivak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rainer Kampus came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Mätas's Frank Liivak. But to his dismay, Frank Liivak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, SC Veretina's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Liivak came free, but Rainer Kampus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Mätas were furious when August Sjöman was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th match minute, FC Mätas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Sjöman to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Vişoiu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Märt Laaser sent off a good shot on target. Aadu Rohumaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Aurel Vişoiu made a huge save. The supporters of SC Veretina booed when FC Mätas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taavi Valgur didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Mätas's Aurel Vişoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alo Nugis in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Märt Laaser got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurel Vişoiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19thth minute of the game Frank Liivak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Veretina's Rainer Kampus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alo Nugis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Aadu Rohumaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rainer Kampus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiki Raadel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, FC Mätas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco van Basten to maneuver through the defense. SC Veretina's Aadu Rohumaa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Frank Liivak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heiki Raadel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Veretina's Rainer Kampus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Liivak in the 39th minute of play. Rainer Kampus came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Mätas's Heiki Raadel. But to his dismay, Heiki Raadel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rainer Kampus was a little too slow when Heiki Raadel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, FC Mätas's goal looked a bit too open when Aivar Kaalep came free, but Aurel Vişoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heiki Raadel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco van Basten kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Märt Laaser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Veretina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Märt Laaser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Breogan's late challenge caught a SC Veretina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Breogan helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Liivak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Raudla kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Märt Laaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Vişoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heiki Raadel struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Rainer Kampus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mätas. Heiki Raadel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Kampus having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Veretina's Rainer Kampus got control of the ball when Frank Liivak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rainer Kampus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiki Raadel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over FC Mätas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Veretina throughout the match.
