In the 20th minute, Ivo Lepassaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Janis Ettur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervin Eenmäe in the 24th minute of play forced Karinu's goalkeeper Koit Vernik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Janis Ettur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karinu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Kreiandi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vahur Üits hit a great ball. Karinu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ervin Eenmäe 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 34 minutes into the game, Illimar Pärn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karinu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kreiandi the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Karinu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Illimar Pärn to maneuver through the defense. Illimar Pärn kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Janis Ettur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ragnar Alusalu was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janis Ettur in the 45th minute of play forced Kreiandi's goalkeeper Ragnar Alusalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Karinu's Koit Vernik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Lame in the 54th minute of play. Artur Laul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ragnar Alusalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Alusalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janis Ettur in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Karinu's zone, Ervin Eenmäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koit Vernik came out of the goal and Ervin Eenmäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ronald Lame came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kreiandi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Lame couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Kreiandi's goal looked a bit too open when Janis Ettur came free, but Ragnar Alusalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ervin Eenmäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ervin Eenmäe came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Kreiandi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ervin Eenmäe couldn't finish the play. Artur Laul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Alusalu having to interfere. Ragnar Alusalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janis Ettur, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Artur Laul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
