In the 40th minute Ruben Cutts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehis Nael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético C.F. reached it. Hardi Annus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mehis Nael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehis Nael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hardi Annus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehis Nael having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Ruben Cutts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Cutts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Märt Org had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
