Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Priit Rõõm got the match started through his kick off. When Priit Rõõm came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Surtsi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Priit Rõõm couldn't finish the play. Helmut Laanemaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Laev in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Taniel Äss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmut Laanemaa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hardi Pihlak in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Laanemaa saved FC Pelgu from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Surtsi SK's Kunnar Koha got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Priit Rõõm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Konrad Külaots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pelgu and the Surtsi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Külaots kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Helmut Laanemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Priit Rõõm in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Surtsi SK's goalkeeper Hillar Reitalu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haarald Sepp. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Laev in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Laanemaa saved FC Pelgu from getting behind. Hans Laev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Taniel Äss charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taniel Äss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Laev got free with Helmut Laanemaa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Surtsi SK's Hans Laev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmut Laanemaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Pelgu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Priit Rõõm scored to the left of an out of position Helmut Laanemaa, making the score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Haarald Sepp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hillar Reitalu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. FC Pelgu's Helmut Laanemaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priit Rõõm in the 77th minute of play. Priit Rõõm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Pelgu getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sulev Vainamäe hit a great ball. Haarald Sepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hillar Reitalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Priit Rõõm took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmut Laanemaa. Helmut Laanemaa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Priit Rõõm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Laanemaa having to interfere.
