Albert Heinsalu hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Entse's goal looked a bit too open when Haarald Sepp came free, but Kevin Kangro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eevald Nurk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Kangro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haarald Sepp in the 9th minute of play. Kevin Kangro came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pelgu's Eevald Nurk. But to his dismay, Eevald Nurk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Karl Lehis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Laanemaa having to interfere. After 20 played minutes FC Entse got a freekick which was hit by Taavet Noorpea. FC Pelgu's Helmut Laanemaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pelgu from getting a goal against them. Karl Lehis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Helmut Laanemaa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Pelgu's Sulev Vainamäe got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Helmut Laanemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joosep Kalamees in the 35th minute of the match. Helmut Laanemaa stood somewhat misplaced when Joosep Kalamees came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Helmut Laanemaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joosep Kalamees in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joosep Kalamees to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Eevald Nurk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pelgu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eevald Nurk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Kalju Rillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Entse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pelgu the free kick. Kalju Rillo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. FC Entse's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eevald Nurk 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After 63 played minutes FC Entse got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Rillo. In the 67th minute Karl Lehis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Laanemaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joosep Kalamees in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Laanemaa saved FC Pelgu from getting behind. Karl Lehis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmut Laanemaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Lehis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Sulev Vainamäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joosep Kalamees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Laanemaa having to interfere. FC Pelgu's Helmut Laanemaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joosep Kalamees in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalju Rillo in the 96th minute of play forced FC Pelgu's goalkeeper Helmut Laanemaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Entse supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Pelgu's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Pelgu.
