In the 17th minute, Janno Noobel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, JK Pärna Torn's Mairo Voit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Muruaas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Väino Veebel fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Pärna Torn's protests and gave Väino Veebel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to JK Pärna Torn getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Väino Veebel hit a great ball. Raul Muruaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mairo Voit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aivar Trummi to make the kick off. Janno Noobel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raul Muruaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Väino Veebel got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 64th match minute, JK Pärna Torn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Väino Veebel to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Osvald Külaots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Khyademeste and the JK Pärna Torn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Osvald Külaots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Muruaas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janno Noobel in the 84th minute. If Aivar Trummi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
