The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mait Pihl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toomas Antsov went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Toomas Antsov took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mait Pihl to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erkki Lepisk during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Fc Tornimäe Saku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkki Lepisk to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Toomas Antsov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mait Pihl came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Saksikyulya's Jaanek Valgupera. But to his dismay, Jaanek Valgupera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eduard Õun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mait Pihl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mait Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Õun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Anton Albi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fc Tornimäe Saku's Mait Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Olumets in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Fc Tornimäe Saku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raivo Loomus to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jaanek Valgupera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saksikyulya's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaanek Valgupera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mait Pihl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joe Annama kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Fc Tornimäe Saku getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Valdo Kalmus hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Olumets was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fc Tornimäe Saku's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Olumets came free, but Mait Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toomas Antsov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Jaanek Valgupera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mait Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Toomas Antsov came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Saksikyulya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toomas Antsov couldn't finish the play. Mait Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Olumets in the 61st minute of play. Fc Tornimäe Saku's Mait Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Olumets in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Jaanek Valgupera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mait Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Toomas Antsov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Fc Tornimäe Saku's Mait Pihl. Mait Pihl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mait Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Olumets in the 71st minute of play. The Saksikyulya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mait Pihl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mait Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Valgupera, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mait Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaanek Valgupera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Valdo Olumets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mait Pihl was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Mait Pihl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo Olumets went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Saksikyulya walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
