Alfons Nuiaots dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. JK Põltsamaa Sport's Kalju Rehepap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madis Raadel in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to JK Põltsamaa Sport getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Andres Aruväli hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Madis Raadel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Põltsamaa Sport's Kalju Rehepap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madis Raadel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Kolunomme's goal looked a bit too open when Andrus Undusk came free, but Alfons Nuiaots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Aruväli in the 24th minute of play forced Kolunomme's goalkeeper Alfons Nuiaots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalju Rehepap made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jörgen Vent sent off a good shot on target. Roomet Rahu's late challenge caught a JK Põltsamaa Sport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roomet Rahu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kolunomme getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Roomet Rahu hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Jörgen Vent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kalju Rehepap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Madis Raadel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Roomet Rahu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolunomme's supporters rose to their feet, but Roomet Rahu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalju Rehepap breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 played minutes JK Põltsamaa Sport got a freekick which was hit by Eimar Murelik. Alfons Nuiaots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Aruväli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Aruväli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alfons Nuiaots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrus Undusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a left leg Kalju Rehepap saved JK Põltsamaa Sport from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Madis Raadel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalju Rehepap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eldur Lill took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kalju Rehepap. JK Põltsamaa Sport's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andrus Undusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Nuiaots having to interfere.
